In a first of it's kind, two patients with symptomatic Haemorrhoidal disease were subjected to MIPH (Minimally Invasive Procedure for PILES) in CHC (Community Health Centre ) Rajpora in South Kashmir's Pulwama district.This surgery is a minimally invasive procedure for dealing with symptomatic Haemorrhoids.The Surgey gives better healing and is less morbid to the patient.The procedure is less painful and has excellent results. The surgery is done at selective centre's in the valley and it is good news that CHC (Community Health Centre) Rajpora has joined those centre's.
The surgery was performed by DR Adil Consultant Surgeon and Dr, Asgar Aziz Surgeon Specialist, and the surgey went off smoothly and a complete doughnut was achieved. The Anesthesia was handled by Dr Deen Mohd, consultant.The OT ( Operation Theater) Staff including Mr Maqbool, Mr Farooq, Mr Ishfaq, Mr Hilal and Shabnum Ji provide excellent support. The logistics and support for the whole procedure was Provided by worthy BMO Rajpora, Dr Javid without whom the procedure would not have been possible. Pertinent to Mention that this novel procedure is fully covered under PMJAY scheme (Golden Card ) and done free to the patient .
