Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Affairs Co-in-charge, Raghav Chadha said that SAD, BJP and Congress have looted Punjab for the last 50 years and for their personal benefits they’ve even sold it. The leaders of these political parties have 5 star and 7 star hotels, farmhouses, big mansions and expensive cars, and they’ve bought these expensive assets and properties by misusing the public money. There are pamphlets circulating in Punjab stating, the people of Punjab should take money from any political party or leader but cast their vote to Aam Aadmi Party. Raghav Chadha said that Aam aadmi Party is an honest party and the people of Punjab know that. Our party don’t give out money, gifts or liquor to lure voters. That’s why the people of Punjab have printed these pamphlets because the money other political parties dispense during the elections is the very money they’d looted from the same people. Gifts and liquor those traditional political parties and their leaders give out in the wake of elections, are bought with the tax payers’ money that they’ve swindled while being in power.

Raghav Chadha said, “We haven’t published or distributed the said pamphlets. The people of Punjab are taking this message from door to door, because they think about the welfare of Punjab and they (people) want everyone to vote for Aam Aadmi Party for a better and brighter future of their children. But, the question arises that why Shiromani Akali Dal is so upset about these pamphlets.” He said that this pamphlet is the voice of the people of Punjab. Punjabi are proud people, they won’t sell their vote. They’ll cast their vote to a worthy party that will give their children a bright future, good schools and hospitals. But, these pamphlets are troubling Akali Dal the most and they are anxious about it.Chadha asked why Akali Dal is so upset about these pamphlets. Maybe they were planning to buy off the votes and now after hearing the voice of people they are fearful that people will take money from SAD but would still vote for Aam Aadmi Party. That is the very reason that Akali Dal is raising the issue of this pamphlet to EC and everywhere else, because it’s going to hurt their plans to lure voters of Punjab with their stacked corrupt money. Raghav Chadha cleared that Aam Aadmi Party didn’t publish or distribute these pamphlets.
