Youth Congress) from Bathinda Rural and Sohan Singh Bawa (Ex-Distt. President of BSP) from Mohali.

From Fatehgarh Sahib district, Balkar Singh (Ex-Sarpanch and Distt. Gen. Sec. of SAD), Ashok Kumar (Distt. President Lok Swaraj Party), Swarn Singh Suhaghari (Gen. Sec. Distt. Satwinder Mann (Ex-president K.G.S.U Chd) joined Aam Aadmi Party. Speaking on the occasion Harpal Cheema said that more and more people across Punjab are joining AAP, because here they see the future of Punjab. Addressing the media here, Harpal Cheema criticized Congress government for wasting crores of rupees of tax payers’ hard earned money on false advertisement and said, “The people of Punjab will give a fitting reply to every lie of Congress on 14th February.”

He said that Punjabis do not like Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at all because during their past regimes they’ve (SAD-BJP) used incidents of sacrilege to divide the voters of Punjab for their own political agenda, sacrilege incidents of Nakodar in 1986 and Bargarhi in 2015 are examples of it.Denying the allegations of double-dealing in the tickets distribution by Aam Aadmi Party for Assembly elections, Cheema said that some people have personal and selfish agendas in politics and when their plans fail, they start blame-game. Cheema claimed that AAP has given 80% tickets to its core volunteers and its only party to do so. Reacting to the news of Police transfers even after CoC Cheema said that if any such thing has happened then AAP demands a high-level inquiry and strict action against everyone involved. Harpal Cheema reiterated that Aam Aadmi Party will follow all the instruction of Election Commission and Covid related guidelines as for AAP, health of the people is the top most priority.
