Development is all about transforming the lives of people observed the Cabinet Minister Gurkirat Singh while distributing the grants 39 gram panchayats during a meeting organised at Block Samiti Khanna today.Gurkirat Singh distributed grants worth Rs 3.86 crore to the gram panchayats falling under khanna constituency.Addressing the village sarpanches present at the occasion Gurkirat Singh said that it is the village panchayats which should initiate the thought of developing their respective villages adding, “ when the Sarpanch and punches think big and positive, like minded people follow and avenues open up for better opportunities and development.”
He also informed that Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi will attend a rally in village Ronu kalan on December 27th at 12.30 PM. “CM will also inaugurate the sports park and panchayat ghar in Ronu Kalan,” shared the cabinet minister.He also called upon the people to participate in the rally on December 27th adding that Congress party has always been on the people’s side and would carry on working for creating a better future for Punjab and it’s people.
