Cabinet minister punjab mr sangat singh giljian today said that the punjab government has set the agenda of 100 days for development and welfare of people.Today while paying obeisance at sant baba prem singh murale wale shrine after assuming office as forest and labour minister of punjab mr giljian said that the government is working 24×7 to ensure the completion of ongoing projects and implementation of welfare schemes in true spirit and manner.

He said that in the capacity of minister of labour and forest, the plantation drive and saving of forest land in the prime target besides ensuring maximum registration of construction workers in the punjab construction workers welfare board as it would provide them the benefits of free health treatment upto rs 5 lakh under sarbat sehat bima yojna .He said that the instructions have already been issued to the labour department to ensure zero child labour across the state. Special teams to be constituted at state level for surprising checking of any kind of child labour, he added.
