37 Companies Select 1409 Youths For Job During Second Job Mela

As many as 1409 youths have been selected by 37 companies during the second job mela held today under seventh state level mega job fairs by District Bureau of Employment & Enterprise (DBEE) at Gulzar Group of Institutes under Ghar-Ghar Rozgaar Program.The Job Mela was inaugurated by MLA Gurkirat Singh Kotli.MLA said that a total of 37 leading companies participated  1409 participants have been shortlisted for the jobs.He added that several leading companies including SBI, LIC, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI, Star Health Insurance, Flipkart, Just Dial and others took part in the Job Mela.He said that in consonance of the firm commitment of the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to provide job to every unemployed, this job mela has been organized.He said that the job melas are a noble initiative by the state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to provide job to every household.He exhorted the youths to avail the benifits of upcoming Job Melas to be held on September 15 in SRS Government Polytechnic College of Girls and fourth Mela at September 17 in CICU Focal Point.
