Member Of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Gill Constituency Kuldeep Vaid started the 5th phase of Debt Waiver Scheme From Government Senior Secondary School, Dehlon by distributing debt waiver certificates worth Rs 3.47 crore of 2964 landless farmers And farm labourers.Addressing the event, MLA Vaid said that Punjab government is committed for bailing out the farmers from agrarian crisis by waiving off their debt.He hailed the Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for launching debt waiver scheme in the state and envisioned that this flagship program of Captain government would act as a catalyst to ensure the well being of the farming community. He said that whenever the farmers of the state have faced any sort of problem, the Chief Minister has stepped in to bail them out adding that this scheme was also a part of the commitment of Captain Amarinder Singh to benefit the farmers.On the occasion, SDM Vaneet Sharma, Anju Bala, Ranjeet Singh Mangat, Paramjeet Singh and others were present.
