On the directives of Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan, Mohali district administration today conducted cracked down campaign to root out corruption and provide transparent public services to people with the arrest of four alleged culprits, who take money from the people for office work at RTA office. Mr. Jagdeep Saigal SDM Mohali and DSP Cyber ​​Crime Amanpreet Singh formed teams to check corruption in Court Complex near Sector RTA Office and Sector 82 Track. These teams has successfully catch 4 touts named as Taranjeet singh, Manish kumar, Harjinder Singh, Yashpal Sharma today who had approx 100 licences, RCs and files related to them, along with their mobiles and laptops. Legal proceedings have been initiated against them.Disclosing this here today, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mrs. Komal Mittal said that the district administration was receiving complaints that some people were using RTA Offices to take money from people for getting their work done and harass people. 

As per the directions received from the Deputy Commissioner Mr. Girish Dyalan, a team was formed, who conducted surprise check today and four persons were arrested by raiding the court complex near RTA office and Sector 82 track. Mrs. Mittal said that Punjab government was committed to provide fair and transparent service environment to the people and if any government employee took bribe for work or any private person for taking work, strict action would be taken against him. At the same time, she said that the person who has the license for any specific job, should do the same only. She urged the people that public services are the basic right of the people and if any government employee or any other person takes money for their work, a complaint should be lodged with the district administration officials immediately. Strict action will be taken against them immediately.On this occasion Naib Tehsildar Arjun Singh Grewal along with SDM’s office team was present.
