Department of Youth Services and Sports Kishtwar, while gearing up the activities ahead of the 7th International Day of Yoga, organised an online yoga competition.The online Yoga competition was held under the guidance of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kharati Lal Sharma and under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner, Ashok Kumar. “As the  pandemic has forced each and everyone to stay indoors causing   physical and mental stress among the masses, hence in its efforts to bring the people together stuck inside their homes, and to  spread the message of traditional Yoga  for the betterment of both physical and mental health, the Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K UT Dr. Saleem-Ur-Rahman has passed the directions to organise online YOGA competition at all blocks of  District Kishtwar under all age groups” the department said.More than 460 Participants of all age groups (male/female) including senior citizens took part in this competition enthusiastically.Earlier, the competition guidelines were circulated by the activity incharge Suresh Parihar PEM and Javed Iqbal Sheikh Incharge activity among the participants.
