The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the Covid containment measures in the district.Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that the achievement of the Health department is the achievement for the whole district, and therefore every department should render necessary support for mitigation of Covid crisis in the district. He stressed upon the concerned officers to speed up the vaccination process in the district and ensure cent percent inoculation of the target population.The DC directed the concerned officers to ensure close monitoring of the sampling and vaccination process at each Vaccination Centre on daily basis.He stressed upon them to intensify their efforts for coverage of the target population with proper sampling and vaccination.Among others the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, SDM Zainapora, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chief Medical Officer, Dy. CMO, Block Medical Officers, Tehsildars, CDPOs and other concerned.
