The design and site plan for installation of three Medical Oxygen Plants (PSA plants) of 1000LPM and the requisite LMO lines in the Dr. BR Ambedkar Institute of Medical Science Mohali Medical has been finalized. The site preparation for installation will be complete within a fortnight.A special committee comprising of representatives of Medical College, Punjab Health Systems Corporation, Public Health, PWD(B&R) and Electrical wing has been constituted to co-ordinate and review the progress on day to day basis so as to ensure timely installation, informed Aashika Jain ADC(G). The process of installation of corresponding Generator sets and power lines will go hand in hand with the installation of PSA plants.In the meanwhile, the recce of the make shift hospital site has been done the vendor and the installation of pre-fabricated structure for setting up the 100 bedded make-shift hospital is expected to be complete by the month end.Pertinently, making up best of the time and resources available with the dip in active COVID 19 cases, district administration gearing up for third surge, is augmenting the health infrastructure especially the production of medical oxygen. Orders have placed for two PSA plants at Civil Hospital Kharar, one at Community Health Centre Dhakoli and five in District Hospital Mohali.
