Dr Amar Singh MP Shri Fatehgarh Sahib met Chairman National Highway Authority of India Dr Sukhbir Singh and requested him to get sanctioned projects in Mandi Gobindgarh and Sahnewal started immediately.Dr Singh mentioned that after becoming MP he had gotten the Ambemajra flyover at 260 Kms on NH 44 in Mandi Gobindgarh sanctioned. A ramp crossing for Government Senior Secondary School for Girls too was sanctioned. He demanded that both projects be started immediately.He also used the opportunity to request the Chairman NHAI to instruct field officers to ensure that service roads and underpasses from Sirhind to Sahnewal and from Khumano to Ludhiana were kept properly maintained.Chairman NHAI after taking a report from concerned officers informed Dr Singh that sanctioned works would be started within this month.
