Swaraj Division on Monday donated 15 oxygen concentrators to the District. These concentrators, of 10 litres capacity would augment the care being given in the COVID Care Centers, said Mr Arun Raghav, who heads the Corporate Social Responsibility wing of Swaraj Tractors.Pertinently, the CSR wing of Swaraj Tractors has been helping the local administration to deal with the COVID-19 crisis from day one. Two vehicles of Swaraj Tractors are currently being used to ferry senior citizens to vaccination centers and dropping them back home in close coordination with the Mohali Traffic Police for past one week. It had in the past , provided face shields & PPE kits for the frontline warriors, tractors for sanitization work, food packets and face masks etc.Also, under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Scheme of the Company, the factory management of Tube Products of India – Mohali and Rajpura (Units of Tube Investments of India Ltd.) have donated 10 nos. of Oxygen Concentrator of 5 Litres Capacity to the District Administration. As part of the Company Policy of providing necessary help to the administration to extend the support to the underprivileged persons of the society , the donation of 10 Oxygen Concentrators has been made; hope they shall be of benefit in saving lives of Covid-19 patients during this period of pandemic and further strengthen the medical support being given in Covid Care Centres/ Hospitals at Mohali said Mr Shivdeep Singh Jammu, Business Head TPI North and Mr Ajay Verma, Head HR present on the occasion.The factory management of Tube Products of India assured to continue such practice/ support to District Administration as per the requirement.
