Actor sajjad nyk belongs to district poonch of J&K. He belongs to village called chamber adjacent to LOC. He did his schooling from village itself and for higher education travelled to main town Poonch. After 12th he couldn't study further due to some reasons. He belongs to a joint family and his father passed away in 2007 due to bike accident when he was 13 years old. Sajjad had intrest in the field of art particularly acting but due to non availability of platform he couldn't get any chances. On social media platform he got in touch with some producer from Punjab and he worked in music video for the first time in 2013.After that he struggled for work in Punjab and did a movie but due to some reasons couldn't be released. Then moved to Delhi and again worked for movie but that was also not released. A producer came in contact with Sajjad and invited him to Mumbai for movie and that time Sajjad had choice either to go to Mumbai for movie or sit in examination but sajjad went to Mumbai leaving behind his studies to pursue carrier in showbiz. On reaching Mumbai the producer stopped to respond to calls or text from Sajjad. The he had no option left before him and struggle over there and find work.
The journey at Mumbai began with little works in ads and movies. In 2017 Sajjad finally got work in reputed serial "WOH APNA SAA" on ZeeTv as 'Bablu'.After that he signed projects but due to COVID he either lost work or the projects got postponed.After first lockdown he got a serial on channel ZeePunjabi named as 'Akhiyan Udeek Diyaan'. This serial was initially made in Marathi language 'Tula Palate Re ' which went superhit and was remade in 7 other languages and worked well. That's why he decided to work in this serial and signed for 'Arjun Bajaj' character. In this serial working with Parmeet Shetty was real fun according to Sajjad. And he loved working with him and according to Sajjad Parmeet Shetty is very nice human being and manages his team well. Sajjad soon is going to be in new big projects. He wants to work in every language and industry as possible be it south Indian, Punjab Industry. He loves action in south movies and also wants to work in big projects of Punjab Industry.After Zee Punjabi serial he got many calls from Punjab Industry for projects. According to Sajjad his mother has been constant support of him. As after death of his father his mother got job of his father. Financially and emotionally his mother has always been there for him and she wants Sajjad to get successful in whatever he is doing. He gives his mother and family all credit of his success. All lockdowns of COVID were spent by Sajjad in mumbai in a very little room. But this year he managed to celebrate Eid with his family in Kashmir.
