Department of Indian System of Medicine (ISM), AYUSH today distributed immunity booster medicines among frontline workers, medical staff, patients and their attendants here in District Hospital Ramban As the District Nodal Officer, ISM, Ramban, Dr. Sanjay Chadha the AYUSH medicines being distributed by the department include 6 types of Ayurvedic and Unani medicines. The medicines were distributed by Medical Officer, Dr Pallvi Dutta and Senior Pharmacist, Shashikant Sharma at DH Ramban and Senior Pharmacist, Sarder Dhanwant Singh and other paramedical staff at ISM dispensary Sumber. The medicines were provided to 270 people besides making them aware about the efficacy of Indian System of Medicines in the times of Covid-19 pandemic, especially for frontline workers.The ISM teams also advised them to maintain social distancing and follow other guidelines as per protocol. The team members further exhorted upon the people to take the message about preventive measures and importance of use of AYUSH medicines in current times of Covid-19 pandemic especially for those who are working at vulnerable spots.
