Giving further momentum to ongoing COVID vaccination, MLA Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal has sent off a ‘mobile vaccination van’ to villages of Harta-Badla block. The mobile vaccination van to cover eligible beneficiaries in 134 villages falling in the block.Giving details in this regard, Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal said that in its first two visit in villages namely Jian and Bhatrana as many as 68 beneficiaries were vaccinated in these villages. He said that on Monday the mobile van would reach village Badla Khurd, where doses of COVID vaccination to be administered to all eligible beneficiaries above the age of 45 years. The MLA said that a detailed chart had already been prepared to cover villages by giving prior information to respective sarpanches. He said that the ASHA workers were already disseminating info to villagers regarding vaccination in their villages so that maximum people could be inoculated near to their homes. The mobile vaccination van will be reaching at around 9:30 am in scheduled villages to administer doses till 3 pm everyday, said the MLA adding that the van is equipped with requisite staff including a doctor, a vaccinator and required medical assistance as well as medicines. MLA Dr. Raj Kumar also appealed the people to take the vaccine as soon as possible besides strictly adhering prescribed safety protocols in larger public interest amid resurge in cases. Prominent amongst those present on the occasion included SMO Chabbewal Dr. Raj Kumar, Medical Officer Dr. Himani, Ayurvedic Medical Officer Dr Sarabjit and others.
