DC Poonch chairs introductory meeting with District, Sectoral Officers

Deputy Commissioner, Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired the introductory meeting with the District/Sectoral Officers of line departments.After formal introduction with the officers of line departments, the DDC listed the priorities of each department and impressed upon the officers to work with dedication towards achieving the set targets in a time bound manner. He stressed upon the district Heads to work efficiently and ensure transparent   functioning of the departments under their control. He sought delivery of public services in hassle free manner for the convenience   of common man. He impressed upon the Health Department to  achieve the set targets under SEHAT Scheme, Covid-19  vaccination and improving the critical health parameters.He enquired about the implementation and targets of  MGNREGA/PMAY (G) and PMAY ( Urban ) , provision of safe drinking water, power supply, literacy rate, school dropout rate, status of different missions and centrally sponsored schemes. He instructed the concerned officers to achieve the targets in a time bound manner. The priority issues of all the departments were discussed in the meeting and concerned Officers were asked to put in extra efforts for achieving the desired results.Reviewing the progress under Capex and other schemes, he asked the  District Officers to  complete the targets within weeks time.While discussing the public grievances redress mechanism,  he directed for speedy  disposal as per standing instructions. The services proving departments like Health, Jal Shakti and JPDCL were asked to activate the supervisory staff by formulating  roaster for  24X7 services.The participating officers were advised to work in close liaison with PRIs and initiate the steps prerequisite for strengthening these institutions. Later, the Deputy Commissioner inspected all sections/offices located within DC Office complex and interacted with   the officers/officials and issued necessary instructions.
