Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma, today discussed the arrangements for District Gurudwara Prabandak Committee ( DGPC) elections here at a meeting with the representatives of the DGPC.Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Kishtwar, Dr Amir Hussain; Dy. DEO Kishtwar, Masood Ahmed Bichoo, ENT Kishtwar Angrez Singh Jasrotia, President Srimoni Prabandak Committee, Attar Singh besides other representatives of DGPC were present in the meeting.The meeting held threadbare discussion about the arrangements for the conduct of the election of the DGPC was held.The members of the DGPC apprised the DC Kishtwar about the updation of the electoral roll and conduct of free, fair and smooth elections across the district.The published draft roll, updated constituency wise electoral lists were also provided to the members of DGPC. Besides, Form1,2,3, and form 4 were given to the members so that the necessary addition, deletions and transposition of the electors are done.On the issue of the pending funds for the construction work of the Sarai at Kishtwar Gurudwara, the DC Kishtwar directed the CEO Development Authority to look into the matter and redress this issue at an earliest.
