Member of Parliament (MP) from Fatehgarh Sahib Dr Amar Singh on Saturday dedicated newly set up medical gas pipeline at the cost of Rs 50 lakh in Raikot Civil Hospital.Accompanied by SDM Dr Himanshu Gupta, SMO Dr Alka Mittal, Youth Congress Leader Kamal Boparai, Dr Amar Singh said that the Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh and state health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu have been leaving no stone unturned to ensure quality health services to the people.He said that with installation of the medical gas pipeline, the facility has been ensured at each bed of the hospital. He said that he is committed to ramp up the health infrastructure in the civil hospital and added he has also been trying to construct a new hospital in the city besides a mortuary in the hospital and work would begin soon.SMO Dr Alka Mittal thanked Dr Amar Singh and said that the facility of medical gas pipeline would provide uninterrupted supply of the oxygen at the every bed of the hospital.Prominent among present occasion included SDO Gurpinder Singh Sandhu, Dr Guntas Saran, Dr Mandeep Singh, Dr Jobanpreet Singh, Dr Deepika Goyal, Dr Harkamal Kaur, Senior Pharmacist Jaswinder Walia and others.
