District Development Commissioner Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode, today visited Thathri area and listened to the locals regarding alignment of the National Highway-244   along the main town area for the widening of the road.District Development Council Members, Chairperson, Block Development Council, members of Municipal Body, besides by civil Society members apprised the DDC about various issues.The DDC informed them that the district administration, in coordination with the NHIDCL authorities, will review the alignment plan and assured feasible solution as per the technical aspects of the project and aspirations of locals.Regarding construction of Degree College Thathri, the DDC informed the locals that site proposal has been sent to the higher education department as per their specifications. He said the construction will be started soon after the approval of the site proposal.Others present at the meeting were DDC Chairperson, Dhananter Singh Kotwal, SDM Thathri Athar Amin Zargar; DDC member Thathri, Sandeep Singh Manhas; DDC member Chirala, Manohar Lal Bhagat; BDC Chairperson Thathri, Councillors MC Thathri; General Manager NHIDCL, besides other Officers/officials of district administration.
