Various individual benefit services including Domicile, Category Certificates, Revenue papers were today issued to the locals at the weekly Block Diwas events held here across the district.The Block Diwas events were held at designated locations, where the teams of different departments along with the frontline field functionaries delivered varied service to the people and listened to their grievances.The events witnessed active participation of the locals. The entire program was held under the supervision of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Dr Sagar D Doifode.The district Social Welfare Department also organised special awareness cum aid distribution camp at Thathri, whereat various types of assistive aids were distributed among 90 beneficiaries.Meanwhile, as many as 57 grievances/applications were received during the entire program across the district, out of which 55 were redressed by the officers/officials of respective departments on the spot.Besides 35 category certificates, 208 Domicile certificates, and 55 different revenue documents were also issued to the people on the spot.The beneficiaries were also covered under Scholarship scheme and Ayushman Bharat, while 39 ration cards were adhaar seeded.A total of 894 works under different heads which includes MGNREGA, 14th FC were also started in different areas of the district.Sub Divisional Magistrate, Gandoh, Pritam Lal Thapa, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Thathri, Athar Amin Zargar, Tehsildar Gandoh, Irshad Ahmed Sheikh, District Social Welfare Officer, Doda Zubair Ahmed Lone, besides other Officers attended the program at their respective areas.
