ADC Kishtwar flags off 50 girl students for 5 day Trekking Camp

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar Pawan Parihar, today flagged off a batch of 50 girl students for a 5-day trekking camp here from New DC Office Complex.The trekking expedition has been organized on  the directions of Director General Youth Services & Sports Dr Saleem ur Rahman and under the supervision  of  District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kharati Lal Sharma.Speaking on the occasion, the ADC asked the trekkers to enjoy the adventure and follow SOPs against COVID-19 during the expedition. He further stressed upon the organizers to take all safety measures for students.Earlier, the DYSSO informed that the expedition will trek on a daily basis, starting from the base camp ABN High School Kishtwar towards Drabaon, on the 1st day and later it will move towards Nagali, Talmachi, Arzi and Bindraban during the next 4 days. He further said that during the trekking camp the participants would be involved in different activities, including cultural programmes, speeches on Swatch Bharat Abiyan, Save electricity, save water, follow traffic rules and on Moral education.
