The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Ajaz Bhat today visited District Hospital (DH) Kulgam to inspect patient care and medical services being provided here.During the visit, the DDC inspected various wards of the hospital and also interacted with the patients, attendants and enquired from them about the facilities being provided to them in the hospital.During the inspection, the DDC was briefed by Medical Superintendent, Dr Muzaffar Ahmad about the stocks of medicines available and other facilities being provided to the patients. He informed that two more machines will be pressed into service in the dialysis section.With regard to lighting in the hospital it was informed that repairment and replacement of lights is a routine process.DDC exhorted upon the concerned to ensure that roster is strictly followed and patients are taken care of with utmost dedication and sincerity at the institution.The DDC was accompanied by CMO, Tehsildar Kulgam and other officers.
