Second phase of covid vaccination begins as SSP got vaccine shot

To eradicate the spread of coronavirus, second phase of vaccination started today in district kapurthala as the SSP Kanwardeep kaur IPS got vaccine shot at civil hospital kapurthala in morning. She also took a "proudly vaccinated" selfie at Selfie Point.In this phase front line workers of Police , Revenue, central security forces would be vaccinated against coronavirus.In kapurthala, four vaccination centres have been set up by the district administration to vaccinate frontline workers at Civil Hospital Kapurthala, Sub Division Hospital Phagwara, Bhulath and Sultanpur Lodhi.After getting vaccinated SSP Kanwardeep Kaur said that vaccination along with precautions is necessary to prevent a covid-19 pandemic. She said that staying optimistic is need of the hour and clearing misconceptions about vaccination as it was invented after a lot of research.She urged the police personals to come forward for the vaccine and inspire others to do the same to contain the spread of covid-19.All the officers who got vaccinated kept in the observation room for 30 mintus.Other police officers who were vaccinated include DSP. Sub Division Kapurthala Surinder Singh, DSP Narcotics Cell Rajinder Kumar, DSP Homicide and Forensic, D.S.P. Headquarters Sandeep Singh.Civil Surgeon Kapurthala Dr. Seema said that the health department has made all the necessary arrangements for vaccination and AEFI Management Centre has been set up monitored by specialist doctors.On this occasion District Immunization Officer Dr Asha Mangat, Senior Medical Officer Tara Singh, Dr Kanwaljit Kaur, Dr Sandeep Bhola Dr Sukhwinder Kaur Amandeep Singh and others were present.
