Dr Amar Singh MP Shri Fatehgarh Sahib started the new parliament session by protesting against the three farm laws inside the Parliament House. He said the Government was so scared of the farmer's movement that it did not call the winter session of Parliament. He said the events of Ghazipur border last night proved that the Kisan movement is a massive Jan Andolan and it will continue till the black farm laws are repealed. He further stressed that the events of 26th January were attempts by the central government to discredit a very peaceful movement and to try and weaken it by portraying it wrongly.Dr Amar Singh said he would protest as much as he can inside the Parliament as he had done when the laws were first introduced and that the farmer's movement was now a movement of citizens against a government trying to promote certain corporations against the will of the vast majority of Indians. Lastly, he said that Governments are formed by the people and that governments must enact laws that the people want rather than forcing laws promoting vested commercial interests on them.
