He said that a responsible teacher must always find ways to advance his/her subject pedagogically while responding to the legitimate concerns of students.Talat added that for a student to be educated in a discipline, awareness of disciplinary communication is necessary and it is incumbent upon the teachers to find ways to connect with the students both in terms of breadth and depth of material and with regard to their ability to be critical customers of scientific information.Director Colleges also commended the efforts of the authors saying that the discipline of physiology is an ever evolving one and requires constant updating and thorough research. While speaking about the book, Dr Pragya emphasised that the volume though comprehensive offers a thorough, easy to understand introduction to the fundamental principles of Animal Physiology.
