AAP expands its Punjab unit, appointments new office-bearers

Appoints 22 state, 168 district, 468 block and 3399 circle level office-bearers.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab on Saturday expanded its organizational base in Punjab, by appointing state, district, block and circle level office-bearers.Senior Leader of the party and Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema, State General Secretary, Harchand Singh Bursat, State Treasurer Nina Mittal, and State Secretary Gagandeep Singh Chadha, administered the oath to the newly appointed office-bearers.The party has so far appointed 22 office bearers at state level, 168 at district level, 468 at block level and 3399 at circle level.The AAP leaders on this occasion encouraged the newly appointed office bearers to work for the betterment of the state of Punjab.Speaking on the occasion Harpal Singh Cheema said that after the dismantling of the infrastructure all the workers of Punjab and the people at the grass root level had been consulted and new appointments were made after scrutinizing various aspects, adding that the Aam Aadmi Party was always ready to fight for rights of the common of the commonest people of Punjab. 

He said that with the announcement of the new organization, AAP had sounded a bugle for the 2022 Assembly elections to oust the corruption-ridden Congress and Akali Dal with the help of the people of the state Harchand Singh Bursat on the occasion said that this organization would not only establish the government in Punjab but would also function as a strong organization even after the election was over, adding that the appointments of the new office-bearers had filled the grassroots workers in the state with enthusiasm and new hope.Nina Mittal said that organization was the backbone of any political party or organisation. With this in mind, she said, all sections had been given equal opportunities. She said that it was the responsibility of the newly appointed office bearers to engage the common man with the ideology of Aam Aadmi Party and to build a strong organization so that the government could work for the people and root out the corrupt from the politics.Gagandip Singh Chadha on the occasion said that the youth was an integral part of any political party and  would work for the betterment of the party and the state. He said that people of Punjab especially the youth were ready to get rid of the corruption introduced by the Akali Dal and Congress dispensations ruling the state for longer spans of time.
