Kejriwal government installs hot water, mobile charging facilities at protest venues

At a time when farmers are fighting against the Modi government at the Centre to save their livelihood, the Kejriwal government in Delhi has pitched in to extend hot water and mobile charging facilities to farmers at protesting sites.The agitating farmers fighting their battle of survival and sustenance on the Delhi-Haryana borders for more than 15 days, were facing hardships due to non-availability of hot water for bathing in the cold weather and due to lack of mobile charging facilities. Kejriwal government in Delhi has come up with a pleasant surprise for them by installing hot water and mobile charging facilities to them.Bathing in a cold water in this freezing cold weather conditions, the elderly and children always ran the risk of getting ill. Keeping this problem in mind, the Delhi Jal Board and the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi decided to provide hot water to the peasants at the protest venues. The government provided gas furnaces to the agitating farmers at the Singhu border so that the farmers could get hot water.

The farmers have been agitating against the dictatorial government at the Centre against the black laws, sitting away from their families, but the hamstrung dispensation is unmoved. The AAP government arranged for mobile charging facilities so that they could speak to members of their families back home. Necessary steps have been taken by the Kejriwal government in Delhi to provide them with mobile charging facilities. A special point with more than 100 charging stations has been set up where farmers could charge their mobile phones.Aam Aadmi Party has been supporting the farmers ever since they started their big fight against the three draconian laws, adding that the Kejriwal government in Delhi had been providing necessary facilities, including langar, ambulance, health services, mobile toilets, clean drinking water etc. to the farmers. AAP's national convener Arvind Kejriwal, ministers, MLAs, volunteers have been serving the farmers as their 'sewadars'.
