Hockey coaching camp, a good start for future players of Indian Hockey: Renu Verma Rathore

Renu Verma Rathore, an international player of Railway Coach Factory Kaputhala, on the completion of 75 days of Hockey Coaching Camp run by Surjit Hockey Society at the local Surjit Hockey Stadium, addressed the players participating in the Hockey Coaching Camp. He introduced them to the art of hockey and the new rules of the game.As a member of the Indian women's hockey team, Renu Verma Rathore represented Indian Women’s hockey team in World Cup held at Netherlands (1998), Commonwealth Games in Malaysia, three-nation tournament in South Africa and Four National International Tournament at USA. He has played in four national tournaments. Renu Bala Rathore is currently working with Hockey India as an official.Speaking on the occasion, Renu Verma Rathore said that the participation of a large number of boys as well as girls in this hockey coaching camp is not only a good start for the future of Punjab Women's Hockey but also a good start to give players for Indian Women's Hockey. She also gave detailed information to the children on how to build a better future by playing good hockey and told the players that besides being a good player, he must also be well versed in the rules of the game.
