Initiating the first phase of Youth Contact Programme from SAS Nagar, Punjab Youth Development Board, Chairman Sukhwinder Singh Bindra meets members of Youth Clubs, Red Ribbon Club and NSS Units of SAS Nagar District.The purpose of the meeting was to encourage the Youth clubs to channelize the energy of youth in positive direction by ensuring their active participation in the constructive activities .While addressing the meeting Sukhwinder Singh Bindra said that the Punjab Government is committed for the development of students and youth clubs.Mr Bindra informed that to encourage the youth to join youth clubs and NSS activities,  the youth development board is planning to distribute sports kits to the youth clubs who are working actively and will also bestow appreciation certificates upon best volunteers.During the meeting Chairman Sukhwinder Singh apprised the youth clubs   about various schemes related to Youth being run by Government of Punjab and also answered their queries.Mr  Bindra said that the Youth Development board has initiated a drive, in fact a Youth Contact Programme  to  interact  with all the youth clubs and NSS program officers state-wide so as to know their problems and to answer their queries for all round development of the youth of Punjab. Beginning from SAS Nagar,  Fatehgarh Sahib, Ludhiana and Amritsar would  be covered in first-phase of the Programme.Among others, Deputy director Youth Services department Punjab, Doctor Kamaljeet Singh Sidhu,, Assistant Director Ms Rupinder Kaur and members of Youth Clubs and NSS program officers were present on the occasion.
