Aam Aadmi Party Kisan Wing office bearers under the leadership of Kotkapura MLA and President Kisan Wing Punjab on Friday listened to the grievances of the Bathinda farmers, who had been running from pillar to post to itching to get urea supply. The farmers on the occasion said that since the supply of urea had been stopped by the centre, they were left with no choice but to look up Bathinda and Nangal fertiliser units for the supply of urea, saying that they were subjected to wait vain there for at least four days or so for the required fertiliser, adding  they were suffering due to lack of arrangements. After interacting with the farmers,  Sandhwan and Vice President Jaswant Singh Gajnamajra said that the Modi government had been hell-bent on  destroying the farmers and traders in the state economically by suspending freight trains in Punjab despite the fact that the farmers had cleared the railway tracks, a condition imposed by the centre, saying the farmers were facing the heat due to the revengeful attitude of the Modi government.Upon meeting the farmers, the AAP leaders along with the head of Bathinda unit of National Fertilizer asked them to take steps to provide fertilizer to the farmers without any hassles whatsoever.Kultar Sandhwan, Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra and Mahinder Singh Sidhu said that the Captain Government should immediately start finding ways and means to make the fertilizer available to the farmers from fertilisers units in  Punjab  Cooperative Societies.Others present on the occasion included Advocate Navdeep Singh Jida District President Bathinda, Sukhjit Singh Dhillwan District President Faridkot, Gurjant Singh Sivia President Bathinda Rural and other party workers.
