Back to Village -III activities held across 67 Panchayats of Ramban

A series of Back to Village-III program activities were today held across 67 Panchayats of Banihal, Ramsu, Khari and Ukhral  of the Ramban district.District Development Commissioner, Nazim Zai Khan visited several Panchayats, including Sujmatna, Chareel, Tehthar, Nowgam, Kaskoot, Bankoot and Chamalwas.He was accompanied by SSP - Haseeb Ur Rehman, ACD, Zameer Rishu, SDM Ramsoo, Dilmir Choudhary, BDOs and other officers and officials of RDD.The local public and Panchayat representatives apprised the DDC about their demands and issues seeking better civic amenities including Medicare, safe drinking water, road connectivity and better lanes and drains.Responding to demands, the DDC directed the concerned officers to take necessary action for redressing the public issues on priority basis.He also interacted with the other visiting officers, PRIs and general public and appreciated their efforts for strengthening Panchayati Raj Institutions and accelerating development process in rural areas.
