In the Mega Job Fair held under the aegis of ‘Ghar-Ghar Rozghar’ mission of the state government, which aims at providing job to every youth, as many as7000 unemployed youth got job placements during the virtual and physical job fairs organized by the District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise Office, informed Deputy Commissioner, Girish Dayalan.Deputy Commissioner handed over appointment letters to candidates shortlisted by various companies in the Mega Job fair organized at CGC Landran.Divulging the details, he informed that 26 companies participated in the job fair. Due to pandemic, the job fairs were organized virtually, in employers’ premises, in DBEE office and physically at CGC Landran. The entire employment exercise was conducted between September 24  to September 28.He said that the Job Fairs have been the catalyst to transform the destiny of the youth since they have been hired at very attractive packages as per their qualification and merit.

Pertinently, Wipro, Cognizant, IBM, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini offered salary package of Rs 4 lac per annum and above, Byjus, Vedantu, Jaro Education gave upto Rs 10 lac while Amazon and Microsoft extended salary package of Rs.10 lac per annum and above.Recruitment was also done by HDFC, Competent Synergy, Eureka Forbes, and Phukhraj Health Care. Different kinds of job rolls like IT professionals, sales, Telecallers, Data entry operator were offered by the companies.  The Deputy Commissioner added all COVID protocols including social distancing and masking were strictly followed during the job fair.While interacting with the candidates at job fair, the Deputy Commissioner appealed to the selected candidates to spread a word about the initiative so that others may also take advantage of this endeavor of State Government.Deputy Commissioner informed that the officers of DBEE have been holding regular interactions with the industrialists to know about the nature of the manpower they were looking for. He said that this helped to provide manpower to the industrialists as per their requirements.
