Under Jan Abhiyan programme, 162 CSC centers are functional to cover all the beneficiaries under various schemes in the district.This was revealed by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam , Showkat Aijaz Bhat during a meeting here. The meeting was informed that more than 1567 health insurance cards were distributed among beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat Scheme during the last 4 days.The DDC directed the CMO and BMOs to start vigorous IEC activities across the district including at educational institutions to sensitize the people about the scheme to achieve cent percent saturation under Ayushman Bharat scheme.He urged people to come forward and register themselves to avail the benefits of this scheme.The meeting was attended by ADDC, ACR, CMO, CEO and other concerned officers.Later DDC chaired a separate meeting of officers to review arrangements for conducting smooth and transparent examinations in the district.The meeting was attended by ADDC, ACR, and Principals of degree colleges besides CEO and other officers.
