Jan Abhiyan: Preparedness finalised in Budgam

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza today convened a officers meeting to discuss the preparedness for effective implementation of the 20 day programme under Jan Abhiyan starting from 10th of Sep 30th Sep 2020.The meeting elaborated on the agenda to be implemented under Jan Abhiyan relating to various key sectors touching every basic requirement of a common person.Addressing the officers and the officials DDC said that these 20 days will demonstrate our capacity capability and efficiency in addressing common man's issues.He said under Jan Abhiyan every BDO taking on board concerned BDC’s Panchs/Sarpanchs will notify areas to be brought under this programme and in the notified areas all concerned departments will jointly organize awareness/grievances redressal camps.He said Rural Development Department will ensure that the benefits envisaged under Centrally Sponsored Schemes are reaching to the deserving and every BDO at block level shall register at least 150 MGNREGA workers for PMSYM including labours.

Similarly for the convenience of public, Revenue Department in collaboration with line department shall conduct area wise camps where on spot mutations, Demarcations, issues of Domicile Certificates besides KCC cases , Ayushman Bharat and Marriage Assistance cases  shall be registered and forwarded to the concerned on spot .The DDC further instructed that the camps will also monitor the status of Ration Card/ e-tickets issues besides cent percent saturation linked to Aadhar card issuance and PM Kisan status.The DDC directed employment generating departments like DIC, KVIB, KVIC, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Agriculture, Horticulture to ensure that all pending cases are disposed off instantly and amicably on spot.Later the DDC also took stock of the preparedness regarding ensuing B2V3 starting from 2nd of October 2020.The meeting also discussed threadbare the status of works completed earlier under B2V2 and concerned ACD informed the meeting that all the arrangements are in place to conduct B2V3 under mission mode.Among others, the meeting was attended by ADC, CPO, SDM’s, all District Officers, Tehsildars and BDO’s.
