DDC Udhampur reviews progress on PMGSY roads Sets Project wise monthly targets

The progress on Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana(PMGSY) roads coming up in the district was today reviewed  by District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla   here at a meeting of  officers of Revenue and PMGSY departments.The DDC took stock of Physical/Financial Progress, status of hot mixing plant, blacktopping of completed roads, Forest clearance issues,   Land acquisition and disbursement of compensation.At the outset, SE PMGSY, Ajay Kumar Raju gave a brief about the progress of various developmental projects being executed under the PMGSY sector.The inquired about the project wise status and set monthly targets for each road.  Sub division wise targets and achievements were also discussed and the concerned AEEs were asked to expedite the work furnish fortnightly progress to his office without failure. The PMGSY authorities were asked to complete the execution work on 450 km road length by end of October 2020. .The DDC further instructed the local administration to monitor the pace of work on a regular basis and take care of existing public utilities.Among others the meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Rajeev Bhushan; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Vikar Giri; All SDMs, Executive Engineers PMGSY Divisions, AEEs and other officers of concerned departments.
