Hirdesh Kumar, Commissioner/Secretary to Government, Transport Department alongwith Pardeep Kumar, Transport Commissioner, J&K visited Kot Bhalwal, Jammu and inspected the  IDTR (Institute of Driving, Training and Research). During the visit, Commissioner/Secretary took review of the work done and also inspected the construction sites. The Executive Engineer, JKPCC, (Executing Agency) Pankaj Sawhney briefed Commissioner/Secretary about the physical and financial progress of the IDTR and stated that work will be completed on priority.Hirdesh Kumar asked the Executive Agency to expedite the construction work so that benefit of this State-of-Art Institute will be availed by the people. Pertinently, the MVD has signed MoU with M/S. Maruti Udhyog Ltd. for proper functioning of this premier training institute.Among others, Dhananter Singh, RTO, Jammu and Pawan Kumar, ARTO, Jammu also accompanied the Commissioner/Secretary, Transport during this visit.
