Divisional Commissioner Patiala, Chander Gaind today took stock of prevailing COVID situation and asked district officials to take strict measures to contain the spread of pandemic in the district.Chairing a meeting of district officials including Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit, SP (H) Navneet Singh Bains and Civil Surgeon Dr Harish Malhotra, Divisional Commissioner Mr. Gaind asked the officials to dealt with strictly to whom, who would violate the mandatory precautions to prevent COVID.He was apprised of the details of positive cases, contact tracing, testing, isolation, quarantine cases and containment zones by the Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit. Mr. Gaind while giving directions to the district officials to contain the further spread of pandemic, said that all the precautions be followed by all the residents must to make district COVID free in line of Mission Fateh guidelines.Calling upon the residents for strictly adhering to the precautions related to prevention of COVID, Divisional Commissioner said that we must wear mask besides maintaining social distancing and washing of hands regularly to stop the spread of CORONA VIRUS.Civil Surgeon Dr. Harish Malhotra while apprising Divisional Commissioner Sh.
