Under the Mission Fateh of the Punjab government, the awareness drive in district Ludhiana is going on in full swing. Today, the Ludhiana Police carried out awareness drive regarding Covid 19 in different parts of district Ludhiana. Several functions were organised under the supervision of Commissioner of Police Ludhiana Mr Rakesh Kumar Agrawal, SSP Ludhiana (Rural) Mr Viveksheel Soni and SSP Khanna Mr Harpreet Singh. Rakesh Kumar Agrawal said that along with providing security to the residents, the Ludhiana police would continue its efforts in educating masses about Covid 19 and Mission Fateh. He said that ever since Covid 19 was reported in the state, Ludhiana Police has been on the frontline and is working in the field for the safety and welfare of people. He assured that the Ludhiana Police would continue its initiatives till the time Ludhiana becomes Covid 19 free.On this occasion, he also distributed Mission Fateh badges to the police officials and urged senior officials to educate people about Covid 19. He himself visited different markets and distributed masks and other such material amongst people. He assured to make Mission Fateh successful in Ludhiana.Besides, awareness drive was also carried out in Ludhiana (Rural) and Khanna Police Districts. Awareness was carried out through PCR vans in rural areas and people were urged to follow government directions if they want to save themselves from Covid 19.The SSPs said that youth can play pivotal role in this regard and there is need to channelise their energy in the right direction. They also appreciated the role of volunteers doing selfless service on the naka’s.The police officials also urged the residents in their respective areas to download Cova app in large numbers and follow all directions of the Punjab government.
