Governor Bandaru Dattatraya honoured Managing Director of Shimla Jal Prabandhan Nigam Limited (SJPNL) Dharmendra Gill at Raj Bhawan, today.This honour was given for developing one its kind web-based application by the SJPNL at the local level to monitor water supply time in Shimla city and ensuring balance of chlorine content in the water.The Governor congratulated the entire team of the SJPNL for this achievement and said that this effort was commendable and it would also useful in terms of good health of the people.This software will not only prove helpful in streamlining the pure water supply of Shimla city, but other states of the country will also get the benefit this technology.Secretary to the Governor Rakesh Kanwar was also present on the occasion.
