Cabinet Minister Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi on Tuesday spoke to Corona Positive Punjab Police Gunman through video call, who was under treatment in the isolation ward at local Civil Hospital.During his interaction with the under treatment police official, the minister inquired about his well-being and assured him of fulsome support. Mr. Sodhi expressed satisfaction over the treatment being provided to the patient besides wishing a speedy recovery to him. The minister asked Paramjot Singh not to hesitate to call him an hour of distress.Responding to the minister's query, the patient apprised him that he is receiving the best of the treatment in the hospital as experts are examining him regularly. He also informed the Minister that he is getting nutritious food thrice and other necessary daily needs. He told the minister that there were no symptoms of COVID-19 in him and he is fit & fine besides explaining his daily exercise routine. He also exhibited some exercise moves to the Minister.Rana Sodhi also asked the doctors to ensure the best possible treatment to the COVID-19 patient. The minister said that it was a matter of relief for the people of Ferozepur that all the 34 primary contacts of COVID-19 positive cop were tested negative yesterday, which averted the danger of community transmission.
