Commissioner Secretary, PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Ajeet Kumar Sahu, who is also the Nodal Officer for management of inter-state passengers and supplies today visited Lakhanpur and reviewed the facilities provided to the people at quarantine centre.Deputy Commissioner Kathua, O P Sharma, SSP Kathua, senior officers from Health and other concerned Departments accompanied the Commissioner Secretary during his visit.The Commissioner Secretary was briefed about the various medical facilities put in place for quarantine people and regarding sanitization tunnel set-up at Lakhanpur. It was informed that trucks carrying essential commodities are reaching Jammu and Kashmir.He also interacted with the people at the quarantine centre and enquired about the facilities being provided to them by the administration. He asked the people to follow directions of the government to avoid the spread of COVID-19.While inspecting the quarantine center Lakhanpur, the Commissioner-Secretary gave directions to the civil and police administration to facilitate people in quarantine centres in every possible manner.Later, he also distributed masks and sanitizers to the drivers, cleaners and other people to avoid spread of COVID-19.
