"The Punjab Government is fully committed to provide every amenity to the people of the State especially those residing in the rural areas of the State. Ample funds would be provided without discrimination to ensure proper development of the villages."These views were expressed here today by the Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab, Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu while giving a cheque of Rs. 5 Lakh to the Panchayat of village Gudana for the purpose of constructing a street from the house of Noor Mohammed to the Dhelpur Road. He also gave another cheque of Rs. 3,62,000 to the village panchayat for the purpose of carrying out development centric projects in the village.Mr. Sidhu also gave Rs. 21,000 from his own pocket to the village Gurudwara management committee.He also divulged that the work of widening of the roads from Saneta to Gudana and Saneta to Dhelpur by 18 feet and that of Dairi to Nagahri, Gigemajra, Middhemajra by 18 ft is proceeding at fast pace.Among others present on the occasion included the Political Secretary to Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu ---- Mr. Harkesh Chand Sharma Machhli Kalan, Sarpanch Harinder Singh Johny, Dharminder Singh, Jagtar Singh, Vinder Singh (All Panches), Ex Sarpanch of village Gudana Mr. Somnath, President Gurudwara Management Committee Harnek Singh, Harbans Singh, Satnam Fauji, Panch Dilbar Singh, Neju Khan, Bahadur Khan, Karamjit Singh, Rajinder Singh Raipur Kalan, Panch Jarnail Singh, Sunder Singh, Jaspal Ram.
