Rana Virender Singh here today assumed charge as the Chairman Punjab State Cooperative Bank in presence of the Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha Rana K P Singh, Cooperation and Jails Minister S.  Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Health & Family Welfare Minister Mr. Balbir Singh Sidhu, Finance Minister Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal and Forests & Wildlife, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Mr. Sadhu Singh Dharamsot.The Speaker Punjab Vidhan Sabha Rana K P Singh and Minister S. Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on the occasion while extending congratulations to the New Chairman expressed hope that Rana Virender Singh would ensure that the Punjab State Cooperative Bank emerges as the bridge between the farming sector of the State and the Government. S.Randhawa also said that the bank is launching numerous new schemes and services to expand the business of the Bank and expressed confidence that the New Chairman would take the bank to newer heights.In his address, Rana Virender Singh while thanking the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that he would fulfill the assigned responsibility with full dedication and would undertake novel initiatives aimed at the welfare of the farming community with special focus on rural sphere.Among other dignitaries present on the occasion included MLA Chaudhary Darshan Lal, MLA Mr. Gurkirat Singh Kotli, MLA Mr. Kulbir Singh Zira, MLA Mr. Gurpreet Singh GP, MLA Mr. Lakhbir Singh Lakha, MLA Mr. Davinder Singh Ghubaya, Ex Minister Mr. Jagmohan Singh Kang, Chairman S.S.Board, Punjab Mr. Raman Behal, Member NRI Commission S.
