A seminar on protection of Environment and Plantation was organised by Global Human Service Organisation(regd.) at hotel Flyover in which Padamshri Baba Seechewal released Sovenier of GHSO dedicated to Baba Nanak on his Parkash Utasav Mrs.Urvashi of Army Public School spoke on the Environment and emphasised the need to plant a Tree on Birthday/Marriage Anniversery. Children of Green Well HighSchool Presented a Skit emphasising the need to Plant and Protect Trees to save Humanity. Mrs.Bawa of DAV School Presented a paper on Air Pollution highlighting the ill effects on our Health. The children of New Era Public School presented a Skit on Protection to Save Water,Electricity,and increase the Forestery so as to make the Environment Clean and Green. Sunny Hans presented a sufi klaam on the occasion. Addressing the gathering Mrs. Parminder Pal Kaur Secy District Legal Services Authority brought out the need to not only protect our rights but also give importance to our duties as enshrined in our constitution. She also informed the gathering that free legal service to the poor is being provided by district legal authority. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Kaustubh Sharma,IPS appriciated the efforts of GHSO working for the Clean and Green Environment and said that other social organisation should follow the example shown by Col.Bishan Dass and his team. Padamshri Baba Seechewal cautioned the audience that we are ignoring the dictates of Baba Nanak who loved the environment and Humanity. We are passing through a critical stage so far as availibility of clean drinking water is concerned. We have to save water for ourselves and for coming generation. Baba ji lauded the efforts of Col.Bishan Dass who is Punjab State Gold Medal  Awardee and National Bronze Medal Awardee besides having been Awarded Regional Gold Medal by Justice V.S. Kokje Governor of Himachal Pradesh at Shimla. The work of GHSO Team is appreciable which other NGO's should emulate. At the end Col. Bishan  Dass thanked the Patrons Shri P.S. Grewal, IPS and Shri MS Narang,IAS, Mrs. Parminderpal Kaur Secy DLSA and all the Guests members present on the ocassion.
