On the second and last day of "Back to Village programme -II" (B2V2) a large number of the villagers including women folk participated in series of events held across the district.The designated visiting officers conducted gala events/activities, meet Panchayat members, Social activists and also inspected government buildings.Officers from concerned line departments were accompanying the designated visiting officers in their respective panchayts for compiling the reports of recorded grievances as per prescribed Performa for onward submission to the concerned quarters.District Development Commissioner (DDC) , Angrez Singh Rana visited Panchayt Kwar and Bhagana B of Block Nagseni and Lachdayaram A and B of Block Kishtwar and interacted with general public and listened to their grievances and valuable suggestions.ACD Kishtwar, Anil Kumar Chandail, BDO Kishtwar, Sheetal Sharma, BDO Nagseni Abhay Indu Sharma and other concerned officers accompanied the DDC during the visit.The DDC acquainted the people about the scientific methods of agriculture, horticulture, dairy and poultry farming and government schemes and asked them to avail benefits of the same for doubling their income.He stressed upon all the participants to involve wholeheartedly in the smooth implementation of government schemes. He asked rural masses to stay fully aware of the social benefits schemes and take advantage of the same. He further asked PRs and Chairpersons of BDCs to work in unison for the development of their area.
