Keeping in view the inconvenience being faced by the pilgrims going for pilgrimage of Shri Kartarpur Sahib in Pakistan, the Punjab Government has today started bus service from Bus Stand Dera Baba Nanak to the entry point of Kartarpur Sahib Corridor. It was disclosed by Mrs. Razia Sultana, Transport Minister, Punjab in a press communiqué released here today.The Minister said that for corridor Shri Kartarpur Sahib a bus has started operating from November 23, 2019. She said that this bus will start from Bus Stand Dera Baba Nanak at 8:45 am and reach at Kartarpur Sahib Corridor at 9.00 am. In the evening a bus will start from corridor to Bus Stand Dera Baba Nanak at 5:15 pm. Mrs Razia Sultana said that depending on the number of passenger the frequency of this service will be increased. She said that she had already directed the Punjab Roadways to immediate start shuttle service up to Passenger Terminal and later in the day the shuttle service started from Bus Stand Dera Baba Nanak to Passenger Terminal for Kartarpur Sahib Corridor.The Transport Minister further directed Punjab Roadways to extend some existing bus services to Dera Baba Nanak, from other major cities, up to Passenger Terminal on the Indo-Pakistan border.
