Chief Minister Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh inaugurated two exhibitions here at Sultanpur Lodhi. The first exhibition is based upon the life of Guru Nanak Dev ji and the tourism and cultural affairs department has also set relics, manuscripts and rare books associated with all Sikh Gurus on display on around 93 panels. The second exhibition has been organized by Punjab Small Industries & Export Corporation Limited (PSIEC) to highlight the skill and talent of Punjabis in various fields along with stalls by as many as 18 government departments. Both the exhibitions will be held till November 15.After inaugurating the exhibition of PSIEC, the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh visited various stalls and lauded the efforts of various departments. The CM held an interactive session with government school students on the stall of Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) about the paintings and calligraphy written by them on the life of Guru Nanak Dev ji.

CM Captain Amarinder Singh appealed the pilgrims to visit the exhibitions along with their family members to connect their next generations with the Panth. He added that the people can also have darshan of original Nanakshahi bricks from the house of Bebbe Nanki in this exhibition.The CM said that the exhibition organized by PSIEC would provide a great platform for rural people and self help groups to showcase their talent and products. Terming it as a lifeline of the rural economy, the Chief Minister said that the Punjab Government would further strengthen the handicraft industry.On this occasion, Cabinet Ministers Sham Sunder Arora, Vijay Inder Singla, Charanjit Singh Channi, PPCC president Sunil Jakhar, MP Jasbir Singh Dimpa, MLAs Navtej Singh Cheema, sukhpal Singh Bhullar, ACS Vinni Mahajan, Principal Secretary tourism Vikas Partap, MD PSIEC Sibin C among several other dignitaries  were also present.
