Prof. Nazeer Ahmed, Vice-Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir, met Governor Satya Pal Malik, Chancellor of the University, at the Raj Bhavan here today.Prof. Ahmed apprised Governor about various issues of academic and administrative importance relating to the Main and Off-site campuses and informed that SKUAST-K has secured a Mega Project worth Rs 29.26 crore from ICAR-World Bank for Agricultural Higher Education Reforms and has been sanctioned a Referral Laboratory for screening of Aquatic Animal Pathogens from National Fisheries Development Board.Governor complimented the VC and his colleagues for their achievements and for receiving two KVK awards:  KVK Kulgam-Best KVK in Zone- I and KVK Kupwara- Best Presentation Award for the year 2018-19. He emphasised high importance of continuous up gradation of teaching methods and achieving tangible outcomes in all the research areas.
