ABVP demands action against students involved in violence

A delegation of students of ABVP of HP University Shimla today met Governor Acharya Devvrat at Raj Bhawan and presented a memorandum regarding their demands in connection with activities of violence in the University.The students demanded that report of the fact finding committee constituted to probe incidents of violence in the month of March in the University be made public at the earliest.In addition to this, they demanded that students found involved in violence activities in HPU campus should be immediately expelled from the University and no hostel should be given to the students against whom police has registered cases.They said zero tolerance policy should be adopted in University for violence activities so that students could concentrate on their studies in a peaceful atmosphere.
